It was the first full day of fall 2015 and it felt more like the middle of summer than the first day of fall. This happens more than you think in Colorado.
It was a big birthday weekend and we had big plans to celebrate. The birthday party was over and we wanted to have some fun at the zoo. We decided to take Mimi down south to the Cheyenne Mountain zoo. It was a great trip of Mommy reading to us in the back seat while Daddy cruised down the interstate. Just like last time Sloane was a sassy pants (just like last time) that didn't want to ride in the wagon and would only let Mommy do things for her.
Yuck their tongues are rough.
One of the giraffes licked all over Sloane's head.
We had to dowse her in sanitizer.
We adopted a couple giraffes to add to the family.
Daddy is always so scared of the giraffes.
Yeah, look he's screaming like a girl.
Munch, munch, munch,
Crunch, crunch, crunch.
We both got to sit in the airplane cockpit this time.
Today was the annual Sayler - Sloane birthday party at our house. As previous years Mommy went all out on our birthdays magical. She should really get a job doing this for a living. I might be a little biased, but I think this was the best party of the year, plus it kicked off the birthday party school season.
I can't wait for the party to begin.
All the yummies!
Pirate's Gold and Fairy Pillows
Everything is so pretty.
Oh, look Peter Pan!
Pirates loot for all the guests.
Don't forget the pirate punch to
quench our thirst.
We had the best bounce house
ever waiting for us in the
backyard.
Everybody got to paint a treasure chest to take home
all the buried treasure.
Buried Treasure.
Pixies & Pirates photo booth.
Sloaney getting her face painted.
Me and my bestie with matching unicorn face paint.
Good thing we had this sign posted,
because some of our guests
got lost.
Happy birthday to us.
Birthday cupcakes for us.
So much joy in the bounce house.
We tried to take a good photo of just us girls, but Sloane
It was my turn to go to Build a Bear and get a pony like Sayler's. I wasn't feeling the best that day so Sayler tried to help me the best she could. It was great to have Mimi share this experience with me.
I'm anxiously waiting for
my pony.
This is how you wash your new pony.
I decided to let Sayler do all the work. Hee, Hee.
I haven't been taking naps lately (I think that I'm to old for naps). This particular day I wasn't feeling well, and I was exhausted. There was no time to make it to bed, so I decided to sleep here.
We went to Build-a-Bear and with my sweet talk, hugs and kisses I actually talked Mommy into letting me build something! I didn't build a bear as the name would suggest, but I built my very own My Little Pony, Princess Celestia. Complete with music and a heartbeat!
Mommy said this was my special back to school present! Yay for School!
Mommy is going to surprise Sloane and take her there one of these days as well
(but, don't tell Sloane)!
I was helping place my Ponies heart inside after rubbing it in my hand so it would be warm-hearted:)
After building my pony, she needed a little cleaning as all new babies do on their birthday!
Washing off the soap
Brushing my pretty Pony
To finish off the last day of summer before school and an awesome day with Mommy...ICE CREAM!
