Discovery Park

Daddy convinced us to drive up to Golden for lunch after Tiny Town.  It was apparent that he had an alternative motive of going to a brewery.  That sneaky Daddy.  Daddy promised me that we could go to a park, and he was scoping them out the day before.  He thought Discovery Park would be cool.  I thought it  was cool even thought is didn't have any slides or tunnels to play in.  It was neat to play around an old dinosaur skeleton.

I love digging in sand.

Wait are there dinosaur bones in this sand.

Awe, the dinosaur is trying to eat me.

Ring around the dinosaur.

Ooh, I'm inside a dinosaur!

How did they put this thing together?

Tiny Town

We made the trek up to the foothills to enjoy a once in a lifetime morning at Tiny Town.  We met my friends Arianna and Jonah to explore the streets of this Tiny Town.  There might have been a time when this place was top notch, but not anymore.  Don't get me wrong I enjoyed my time, but I think it would have been so much better if Tiny Town was kept up a little better.  The houses were falling apart and had paint that was chipping.

Instinctively I headed straight to the Town Library.

Me and Daddy enjoying the library stoop.

Um, Daddy can you make some room for me.

I got to drop a penny in the wishing well.  Daddy tried to ask
me what my wish was, but I knew not to tell.

The train was a real steam engine with a whistle that was super loud,
and scared us half to death when it blew the first time.

Look at the steam.

I'm still not sure about this train.

Here's the choo choo.

Just another stoop to hang out on.

Mommy and me.

This was the only house Daddy felt was safe enough to go into.

A little happy feet in the little house.

Coolest sign at Tiny Town.

Hey Arianna check out this building.

Really a FedEx sponsored house?

Dinosaur Hill.

Mini hot dog stand

Last picture on the Tiny Town bench, which isn't tiny.

First Husker Game Of The Season

Daddy got me all excited for the first Husker game.  He spent the leading week teaching me game day chants.  I was ready to go once the game started.  The next morning, Daddy told me the game ended up being a nail bitter towards the end, and Nebraska prevailed.  It was past my bedtime, so I wasn't able to stay up and watch.

Are you ready for some football?

Touchdown!

Spirit Fingers.

Husker Power!

Go Big Red!

Painting My Walls Grey

Daddy was working hard painting the walls in my big girl room.  He stayed up late making these  neat stripes on one of the walls.  I thought is was cool that he let me have a try painting one of the walls.

Make notice of my smooth and straight paint strokes.

I'm made for painting.

Shirtless With Water Tables

It was a hot day at the Western Week games, so Daddy thought I should cool down with my water table since I was feeling better.  It wasn't long before I got my shirt soaked, so Daddy let me go shirtless in the backyard.  We sent Mommy a text to make sure she approved.

Western Welcome Week -

Sunday was filled with games of old.  Some repeats from the day before, but still classics.

This one was a marble maze.  There really wasn't much to it.
It was fun because I played with some older girls.

Next there was a game with snakes.  You got to throw snakes in
a cowboy boot, just like Toy Story.

Do you like my cowboy hat?

Just playing with some snakes.

Snakes!
