First Husker Game Of The Season

Daddy got me all excited for the first Husker game.  He spent the leading week teaching me game day chants.  I was ready to go once the game started.  The next morning, Daddy told me the game ended up being a nail bitter towards the end, and Nebraska prevailed.  It was past my bedtime, so I wasn't able to stay up and watch.

Are you ready for some football?

Touchdown!

Spirit Fingers.

Husker Power!

Painting My Walls Grey

Daddy was working hard painting the walls in my big girl room.  He stayed up late making these  neat stripes on one of the walls.  I thought is was cool that he let me have a try painting one of the walls.

Make notice of my smooth and straight paint strokes.

I'm made for painting.

Shirtless With Water Tables

It was a hot day at the Western Week games, so Daddy thought I should cool down with my water table since I was feeling better.  It wasn't long before I got my shirt soaked, so Daddy let me go shirtless in the backyard.  We sent Mommy a text to make sure she approved.

Western Welcome Week -

Sunday was filled with games of old.  Some repeats from the day before, but still classics.

This one was a marble maze.  There really wasn't much to it.
It was fun because I played with some older girls.

Next there was a game with snakes.  You got to throw snakes in
a cowboy boot, just like Toy Story.

Do you like my cowboy hat?

Just playing with some snakes.

Snakes!

Fun Fest

Mommy had to work today, so Daddy and I had a fun fest.  Daddy and I spent the morning searching for an awesome new playground.  We dropped Mommy off downtown, so we decided to head to City Park.  I was shocked at how run down that playground was.  I'm happy that they decided to finally build a new playground, because the current one is a deathtrap.  The next stop was Wash Park, which was better.  Wash Park's playground was a little cramped in one small area.  It wasn't really made for toddlers.  It was too tall for me, but not tall enough for Daddy.  I gave both parks a One Slide out of five on my new park rating system.  After those two fails, we decided to go back to my stomping ground.

The one bright spot of the City Park was this elephant.  Daddy told
me that it escaped from the zoo.

There was a fun fest at my neighborhood park with lots of activities and games.  We got to play with bubbles, and jump in a ball pit.  They had songs and dancing.  Unfortunately it was so hot I didn't want to join.  There was a bounce house that I was scared to go into by myself.  I liked all the different crafts they had.  Like the rock turtle I made.  The Sulley and Mike were cool to build because I got to use a hammer.  All in all I think it was a great time.  Until I started getting sick.

Giant bubbles.

I was really good at the bubbles.

My first tattoo.
This is my sad face from being sick.

My Sulley Daddy helped me build.

Western Welcome Week - Fireworks

Tonight there were fireworks to celebrate the start of Western Welcome Week.  Mommy and Daddy let me stay up late so we can drive down the street to experience the thrills of fireworks.  I want to point out that I've never seen fireworks before, and I wasn't scared a bit.  Well there was this one unexpected boom that startled me just a little bit.  I don't know if I had more fun walking around the park at night with my glow-sticks, or the fact that Penny the penguin got to enjoy the fireworks with me.  I really have no idea how I slept through the 4th of July fireworks.

These glow sticks were the bomb.

Wow fireworks are awesome.

I saw purple ones.

The fireworks are making it light as day.

Mommy and me watching the fireworks.

Boom, fireworks!

We were so close.
