Halloween

Today was Halloween or All Hallows' Eve.  Which meant I got to dress up tonight and stay up a little later than usual.  It also marks my introduction to candy.  Honestly I didn't try any candy, but I enjoyed taking it out and putting it back into my pumpkin bag.  I decided to go back to my roots and dress up as an elephant.  For those of you who don't know, my elephant roots stem back to when Mommy and Daddy called me Babar (the elephant) before I was born.

We went back to the Wash Park street party like last year.  This time I got to walk around and go up to the shops for trick or treating.  I think I know at least three people who thought I was the cutest elephant there.    Last year I went as a lady bug to play off my last name.  What will next year bring.  I also want to note that  Daddy wore the same outfit as last year.

I look so precious.

Paawoo!!!

I think I need to get Mommy and Daddy
to dress up next year.

Have you seen my bag.  A gang of 3 year
olds stole it (don't worry, they didn't really)!

Me and Mommy walking in the
Trick or Treat madness.

Look it's a Mario.
(I said this in my best Itialian voice)

On our way home.

We made some Jack O Lanterns the night before.  Do you want to see them?

Mommy made this sweet Owl for me.

Me sitting next to my pumpkins.

Daddy made a mustache in this little pumpkin.  He
drilled holes into the other side.

Happy Halloween!

Here is a link to my first Halloween last year.

Pumpkin Patch

I went to the pumpkin patch today.  We tried to go a couple weeks ago, but it started raining on us.  I guess my cousins braved the rain that day to have fun at the farm.  The day started off with a little shock Daddy saw in the parking lot.  You will have to ask him some day what happened, definitely not appropriate for my blog (I guess some people just don't care).  The morning was cold on the farm, as there were no trees to block the howling winds.  It snowed and rained a couple days before so every thing was muddy.

We went to visit the animals first.  I spent a while watching the bunnies.  I always say the bunny goes "hop hop hop".  They were snacking on a pumpkin.  We played in kid land (where everything was my size), once we warmed up in the barn.

All a board! (this was a wooden train)

I think Mommy was cold.

Daddy climbed a giant tire mountain, and I wanted to join.

Look at me I have long beautiful hair
(some day I'll have my own, for real)!

Family photo.  Mommy the cute farm girl, me the scarecrow,
and Daddy. (he looks normal)

The tractor took us to the pumpkin patch, but not before
we stopped to feed some cows. These were some long haired cows.

This one had a bulls eye (get it) on it.

There were so many pumpkins to choose from.
The only thing is that we had to fight through the mud to get them.
Daddy was smart and wore boots, so the mud didn't bother him much.
Mommy and me were tip toeing around the mud.

I felt sorry for this pumpkin.  No body wanted it because
of all its bumps.

I was sittin' on a pumpkin.

A cornucopia of pumpkins.

Me and my Mommy

I like riding a pony better than sitting on a pumpkin.

Daddy and I were mining for gold.

Spent a little time thinking about my day at the farm.

I'm a Big Girl Now

I learned to eat all by myself using a spoon.  I love to eat my food like a big girl.
No more eating with my hands.  Some days are better than others.  I have a couple
videos for you to see me on my first couple attempts to use a spoon.

Dancing

Here are a couple videos of me getting my morning dance on.

Sick Time In The Park

So I went to the doctor today for something, but I can't remember what.  All I remember is that the Doctor cleared me of what ever it was, so Daddy and I decided to go down to the park.  Just recently I discovered what leaves where.  Mommy and Daddy told me all about them, how the trees start growing leaves in the spring.  Then the trees are full with green leaves all summer.   Once the weather starts to turn for the winter the leaves start to turn brown and different colors, and shortly fall off the trees.  Then I get to play with them. I like to pick them up one by one and make a little pile out of them.

Priceless!

I look funny in this photo.

One..two...three, three leafs.

We took the long way around the park and ran into this squirrel
Daddy had a stare down with the squirrel.  I think Daddy lost.

A little walk around the park.

Playing with some leaves.
